Macaron love

I am pretty certain all girls like macarons. Apart from their delicious taste, they come in such form and colours that you just can't resit them! My favourite ones come from Laduree as they are on offer with the whole experience package. At Laduree you don't just enjoy a wonderful taste and smell of all those delicious macarons, that come in almost all imaginable flavours and colours, but also the famous Laduree ambient, the vibe and those adorable take away boxes which in my opinion are a fashion statement by themselves. My favourite Laduree corner isn't in France though, but in London, at Harrods. A cup of tea and some classic vanilla flavoured macarons can make my day.

I would like to try to make some at home but really don't know whether the outcome would be as satisfying as the ones I have already tried. I found a book on how to make macarons on amazon.co.uk, which curiously enough is not a Laduree edition, but is called "I love macarons" by Hisako Ogita and which gives a step by step description on how to make the beautiful ones. I think I am going to give it a try. If any good macarons come out, the photo is to follow.
